The Severn Rising 2222 is an ambitious imagining through gaming, of what the City of Worcester, might look like 200 years in the future, where Worcester has been flooded, humans have left, and the city is consumed by nature.

Who were the humans?

Why did they have to leave?

Where are they now?

In the style of a classic point and click adventure you guide a swan and a duck as they explore the abandoned city. Talk to characters and solve inventory puzzles as you attempt to uncover the mystery.

Hey everyone! I'm Anthony also known as Anton. I'm working on a game titled 'Paintra'. I hope this game can show what GDevelop can really do!

Controls are REMAPPABLE! Just go to settings and then controls, then click on the function you wish to remap. 
Pipes have also been tweaked recently and should mitiage any issues.
Minecart segment has also been changed slightly.

Paintra is my passion project, a 2D platformer action game that takes inspiration from classic platformers such as Mr. Gimmick while also adding a modern twist to the gameplay mechanics. Currently, the game is available as a demo, but I plan to expand on the concept in the future.
The game will feature stunning visuals and original music that aims to provide an immersive experience to the player. The levels will be well-designed and offer a challenging yet enjoyable experience. The game has been optimized to display in a 16:9 aspect ratio and features vibrant colors that stand out.
The gameplay mechanics in Paintra include the ability to throw a boomerang at enemies and crates, as well as the ability to run to avoid attacks. The game also features customizable settings that allow you to remap controls to suit your preferred play style.
For now, the demo features 3 levels with 2 quests and 3 red coins to obtain in each!
Overall, Paintra is my vision of a modern classic platformer that combines old-school gameplay mechanics with a contemporary twist. Give the demo a try, and experience the exciting world of Paintra for yourself!

In Treasure Quest 3D: Gold Voyage you'll be playing as a pirate on a hunt for riches in a world overrun by Skeletons and their ships. Embark on an adventure and navigate through the treacherous seas to find and collect treasure! You'll be digging to find it. Just be careful of what you may be digging up... You may even find gold along the way! Spend your hard earned gold to buy upgrades to help you on your voyage.

[REGARDING THE GDEVELOP 3D GAME JAM]

The Theme was Navigate. I've been enjoying pirate-themed content lately and felt inspired to make something in that theme. My interpretation of navigate for this game was to have the objective to be to find and dig up treasure. The compass should help you navigate towards it as you're sailing and traveling on islands. As for the 3D aspect of the game, it's mostly an aesthetic addition as the core gameplay would also work in 2D. Some may call this game 2.5D. However, the addition of 3D makes a BIG difference! Without it, the game would be significantly different. 

As an extra challenge, this game ONLY consists of sprites, text objects and the new 3D box object. This is because I did not want to spend most of my time learning 3D modeling and instead focus on making the game as fun and interesting as I could given my limitations. 

The development of this game was started on May 20th, 2023. Development finished on the final day of the 3D Game Jam on May 28th, 2023. I worked on the game full-time in-between those dates.

This is my first 3D game, my first game of this length and my first finished game in a LONG time. I've really started falling in love with GDevelop as an engine and will be using it for some future projects as well! I'm planning on making a devlog in the next coming weeks to talk about my experience in full. Stay tuned for that. I had a lot of fun making the game and I hope you'll enjoy it!

**TIPS AND HINTS**
- Learn how to get to the castle before worrying about your score.

- It's easier to learn how to play with Lando.
- The progress bar is a pretty good guide for the "safe" part of the screen.
- When you have to choose, up is always safer than down.
- Amodius is the only enemy that makes noise. There's a reason for that.
- Kevin the Ogre can push you with his shield, but you can push back.
- Above all, DON'T PANIC. Patience gets you to the castle almost every time.

In this dynamic game you need to dodge various obstacles and get to the finish line. The main character always moves forward and has different shapes with different features - a guy, a plane, a disk, a ball. The game has good graphics, music and different locations. With each level it becomes more difficult, it will take a good reaction, memory and patience to pass, do not despair if you cannot pass all the levels.

Management:

The left mouse button, the W key, or Up; and on the phone, hold at the top of the screen - jump, fly up, change gravity up - depending on the shape. The right mouse button, the S key, or Down; and on the phone, hold at the bottom of the screen - slide, fly down, change gravity down - depending on the shape.

You are a manager. You manage little fella and everything around them. Use your micromanagement skills to rescue the fella from the deep catacomb they somehow got caught in!

Use your mouse to toggle the activeness of objects, enemies and the character itself. You can't change the speed (unless - 🐛) or the direction (again, there are 🐛), you only control plug in and plug out. Yet, it is enough to feel protagonist sad with your micromanagement, so you two together until you help them out!

One of the major issues (aka bugs 🐛) you may encounter is the character moving differently when falling or getting touched by a gate/lift from above. Quickly toggling character toggle will calm down the fella. It all because of the stress caused by microgement, u know! (•᷄- •᷅ ;) 

If you are experiencing a sound delay - try refreshing the page and waiting a bit. It may need to load some stuff, I dunno?! It resolved the issue for me.
[GD.Games only issue] If you can't hear the background music when launching the games - press house button and 0 level again, then press speaker button twice. It should resolve the issue.
