You play as a nameless soldier of the Repvblik Lepvs after an invasion by Serpensian forces. Both nations were colonies of the Draconis Imperium, but borders were poorly drawn after its collapse. The Serpensians then expelled the Lepvsian farmers from the disputed agricultural zones, but the policy backfired catastrophically because Serpensian farmers couldn't match the experience and expertise of the Lepvsian. Serpens thus fell into famine, and the government, by means of propaganda, blamed Lepvs, and declared war to seize the fertile Lepvsian borderlands and irrigation canals originally built under Draconis rule.

More maps to come for this campaign and I'm planning to add another campaign after this: the Porcun-Siriusian War.
