¬ AT WHAT COST ¬
Every choice has a price. What are you willing to sacrifice?

At What Cost is a dark, atmospheric, story-driven pixel-art RPG where your decisions shape the world around you, and even the best intentions can lead to unexpected consequences.

Step into the shoes of a mysterious hooded traveller, armed with nothing but your abilities, a lantern, and the choices you make along the way.

Explore unsettling environments, uncover hidden secrets, encounter mysterious characters, and face difficult moral dilemmas where the difference between right and wrong isn’t always clear.

Will you sacrifice what little you have to save someone else, or conserve your resources to ensure your own survival?

The choice is yours. The consequences might not be.

The Journey Is Just Beginning

Originally created for a game jam, At What Cost has grown into something much more ambitious.

Our vision is to expand the game through multiple seasons and episodes, each introducing new stories, environments, characters, and themes — from dark fantasy to entirely different worlds.

Future plans also include online multiplayer, cooperative exploration, equipment, inventories, player trading, and much more.

This is only the beginning.

Sometimes doing the right thing comes at the greatest cost.
