Our team created a short demo of a Valentine’s themed platformer for the 2024 OCADU Design-a-thon. The goal is to traverse a series of cliffs, clouds and heart-shaped chocolate boxes to reach your love interest waiting at the very top of the level. We approached the games mechanics with more of a classic 2D arcade style side scroller in mind. This allowed the team to program a more retro moveset best enjoyed using a classic joystick. Overall, we believe our demo is a charming take on a simple platformer, themed with fun Valentine’s Day puns across the level, and a delightful ambiatic score to back the warm visuals.

2D point-and-click game made for class where players follow recipes based on sheet music and craft potions that solve the villagers' problems.
