The player must locate and destroy enemy drones that physically "orbit" around them. The user must turn their body in real life to find the drone and shoot it before time runs out.

This project is a prototype of Augmented Reality (AR) based on orientation sensors, developed in GDevelop 5. Unlike complex AR that uses surface recognition, this system uses the smartphone's gyroscope and compass to position virtual objects in a 360° environment over the actual camera image.


For your Augmented Reality game to work in Google Chrome (especially mobile), the browser must have explicit permission to access the camera. If it doesn't activate, you'll see a black screen or GDevelop background instead of the real world.
Here are the steps to activate it depending on the device:
1. In the Browser (Android / iOS) When JavaScript code tries to start the camera, Chrome usually displays a notice at the top. If you blocked it by mistake or it doesn't appear: Press the Settings icon /Three dots (⋮) in the upper right corner. Tap the Info icon (ⓘ) or padlock next to the URL. Select Site Settings or Permissions. Find Camera and make sure it is under "Allow".

2. In Cell Phone Settings (Android) Sometimes the problem is not the website, but Chrome does not have permission to use the camera in the operating system: Go to your phone's Settings. Look for the Applications section. Find Chrome. Tap Permissions. Make sure the Camera is set to "Allow only while the app is in use".

3. The HTTPS factor (Very important) Google Chrome blocks the camera by default if the site is not secure. If you are testing the game in a direction that starts with http://, the camera will not turn on. You must use an address https:// (with the "s" for insurance). If you're using GDevelop Local Network (LAN) Preview: Chrome usually allows it if it detects that it's localhost or a local network IP (such as 192.168...), but if it fails, try logging in from a browser other than Chrome (such as Firefox) which is sometimes less strict with local certificates.
