Key board controls:
Right hand - Left and Right to move, Up to use sonar

All audio and music are either orignally made or copyright free

2925-01-20
- Tweaked sonar's sound, animation, and cooldown
- Added Death Animation
- Added Current animation, as well as Upwellings and Downwellings, which will either slow or speed up your descent.
- Minor aesthetic changes and tutorial rewrite

2025-01-07
- Added a current feature. During gameplay, the current will pick up, making the player move in another direction.
- When the sonar plays near sea life, it speeds away

2025-01-01
- Tried a different font for the title. I might try more in the future
- Added item images for the tutorial
- When the sonar collides with hazards, they briefly turn red so people will know what to avoid
- As you sink, the hazards will spawn in slightly faster

2025-12-25
- Added French and Spanish localization! Native speakers are free to correct or offer suggestions for the translations.
- Fixed a glitch where items were deleting in the bottom right corner. Now they don't disappear.
- Tweaked some of the sounds.
- Changed the tutorial. Instead of floating up, you press the sonar button to change the text.
- Added tunnels/dark places that randomly spawn in. Make sure to use your sonar to detect any hazards you can't see.

2025-08-06
- Redid controls. You move left and right to avoid the hazards and use the sonar to collect items. I may use the sonar for more stuff int he future.
- Redid tutorial. Now you press use the sonar to change the text instead of the text floating up.
- Redid the mobile controls. Instead of buttons, you can tap or swipe.
- Minor bug fixes

2025-06-14
- Tried reworking the sound and music
- Changed the menu setup
- Let the player move left and right (Z and X or O and P)
- Updated the Win and Lose art

025-06-03
- After some thinking, I've decided to go forward and make this game a Cozy Horror. I was undecisive for awhile because what I had seemed like a nice relaxing game on its own, without the story I had in mind. I want to go forward with my Horror story, so I'll make more updates through the year and add what I can.
- Tweaked the positioning of some things

2025-05-22
- Tinted the marine life so they blend into the background a bit better
- Altered the tutorial text so that it's a bit easier to see
- Added a Sonar sound when player activates their sonar attack. I played with the pitch to make it more fun

Help Remy complete their chores and make it back home before their health deteriorates - or before Ankou finds them.

Use the arrow keys to move and Space Bar to jump over ice patches. Use the Up arrow key when in front of a lit building to complete a chore. Use the Down key to hide your face from Ankou when it starts to fade in.

Only keyboard-friendly for now.

2025-09-29 Patch
- Added a Death trigger for when the player is supposed to die
- Added a Game Over screen

2025-09-22 Patch
- Finally redid Phase One of the Ankou mechanic. Now when someone walks by, it could be a regular person or it could be Ankou (and you would have to cover your eyes).
- Added Phase two, where Ankou chases you back to your house after you've completed your chores. It still doesn't end the game when it catches you yet; a bug I'm working on fixing.
- Changed the Hands Up from two hand-shaped sprites to an actual animation where Remy pulls their cap over their eyes.
- Resized the game so that it fits the screen better because I noticed some sizing issues and it really bugged me.

2025-09-10 patch
- Added a menu
- Made the rules appear during gameplay rather than as Instructions before the game starts
- Tweaked the jumping so the player con go a little further

A remake of an old prototype I made some years ago that I want to enter into a game jam. You got yourself a new self-driving SMART car and hope it'll help you with transportation. Strangely, this new car seems to glitch, giving off a presence of its own.

2025-10-29 patch:
- Added a rough Death animation
- Finished the Win and Lose screen art
- Got the VA for the AI and Phone Bud (Special thanks to Darcy for the recordings)
- Minor bug fixes

2025-10-27 patch:
- Finally updated the tutorial scene! There's two pages and you can click the arrows on each side to sift between them.
- Added the GPS for the car. Now and again, you can press the arrow buttons to change the direction of the route to make the level shorter or longer. I wanna make the outside scenes change in a future build.
- All music and sounds are Copyright Free

2025-10-21
- Since it's Point n Click, it should also be moblie friendly. Let me know if anything doesn't respond to Touch.
- So far, the ghost only appears in the front mirror. Turn on the indoor light to scare it off.
- Sometimes the outside light will turn on or side window will slide down. Keep the windows up and lights off so you don't freeze or run out of battery.

Follow your heart, but don't lose your head.

Made for the XP Atlantic Game Jam 2026

Run with your heart as it travels the level. If you get too far away, then you lose the level.

Left and Right arrows to move, Space to jump, and LShift to dash

Tried making a platformer.

MOVEMENTS:
Arrow Keys to move left and right
Space Bar to Jump
Z Key to Dash

This is just a vertical slice, so I'll make patches as I get more ideas on what I want to do with it. As always, I'm open to feedback.

Help Emery DuTemps fly home by collecting quartz crystals to create speed boosts. Avoid the snowflakes because they'll add to your countdown and keep you from speed boosting.

Currently keyboard-friendly. May be mobile and gamepad-friendly in futue updates

This is a Game Maker's Tool Kit game jam submission! You can play and rate my game on Itch here: https://the-shade-system.itch.io/emery-dutemps-get-higher

I've decided that I'm going to work on making some short Interactables now and again. Not video games, but little things with poppits that people can interact with. If artists can doodle, writers can do flash fiction, then developers and make interactables!

Directions: Click or tap on the things around the Blanket Poppit to see what they do on a rainy day!
Because it was raining over here and this is what I did today after a meeting.

For the Gdevelop Weekend #4 Game Jam, which theme is Start With a Starter.

I used the Platformer-Shooter starter with an old Scorpian OC of mine called Dùsholas (name might change). I love The Mist portion of Silksong and always wanted to make a game like that, where you had to use your abilities to find your way out of a level. Since Dùsholas is supposed to have a low level of Pyrokinesis, I could incorporate their ability as a flair to find their way out.

Sice I was sick for most of Saturday, there's still probably some kinks with the level design. If you get stuck, just refesh the page and replay from the start. It's a short game, so there's not much to lose.

Made for a game jam.

Arrows to move, space to pick up, drop, and place masks on statues, and Q to restart level.

Goal is to use the masks to guide the Masked Person to the doors. When they unlock them, walk through and win the game.
