A short demo for a shmup game that I am working on.
Currently, a few levels and most of the menus are fairly comeplete, but the settings and graphics are unfinished.

-Controls-
WAD: Movement
Arrow keys: Aim and shoot
Space Bar: Shoot
1-7 and 0: Select Weapons (Pistol, Machinegun, Flamethrower, Minigun, Shotgun, Grenade Launcher, Rifle, and Debug gun respectively)
E or 1(on the number pad): Use the special ability of the weapon (Reload, Detonate, Ignite, etc)
Esc: Open the menu/quit
E or Enter or LMB: select in some menus

Debug Keys (Hold down left control)
1-Next wave
2-Take damage
3-Refill HP
4-Teleport to mouse
5-Save and exit to the main menu (you will need this if you enter the ruins level)
6-Teleport to boss
7-Get all weapons

Fight off hordes of enemies with your upgradeable turret!
Use WASD to maove and the mouse to aim/shoot.
The boxes on the bottom right toggle:
Low-quality mode
Auto-reloading
Auto-firing
You can press space to spawn an enemy and Delete to instantly kill the player

I made this short game for the Big Game Jam #5 by GDevelop. It follows the theme "Unstable" because each weapon has a unique mechanic that makes it less accurate (or more unstable) under certain conditions. I hope you enjoy playing it. You can vote at https://cardvark.itch.io/focus
-Controls-

WASD or Arrow Keys to move

LMB to shoot (when you have a gun)
RMB to use a melee attack (enemies will be highlighted in red when you can do this)

Escape to pause

-Weapons-

Fists (Number 0): Provide no benefit
Pistol (Number 1): Has an unlimited fire rate, but you must stabilize your aim by holding the LMB, or else it will have terrible accuracy. It does an average amount of damage.
Machinegun (Number 2): Has a high rate of fire and good accuracy, but continuous firing will make it less accurate. It deals slightly below average damage.
Rifle (Number 3): Slow, but extremely powerful. It can destroy normal enemies in a single shot. However, one must stand still while using it to stabilize the shot.

-Tips-

-Enemies take around half a second to kill you, so don't let them get close enough to shoot at you
-If an enemy gets shot, they will walk towards the location of the shot or turn in the direction of the bullet
-Higher-ranking enemies have 2 stars on each shoulder, and have significantly more health
-Your health will regenerate after a few seconds
-If the game is too hard, you can change the settings to make it easier

-Known Bugs-
-Enemy projectiles can go through walls, but cannot hit the player through a wall
-The player can shoot enemies through walls
-Oil from injured enemies can greatly slow down the game (you can make oil go away faster in the settings)
-Increasing the player's max speed makes the rifle significantly less accurate

Most graphics are from kenney.nl, or were made by me
Sound effects are GDevelop assets or are from Construct 2 Assets

Just a cute little game that I made a game jam. I hope you enjoy it!

Ps

Some people said that the game glitches out sometimes, but I have not been able to recreate the issue, so I'm sure its fine.

Controls

Left and Right arrow keys to walk

Z to jump

X to throw seeds

Warnings

The game has flashing lights, violence, and gore. However, as someone who is easily startled, I did not include jumpscares.

This is a short game that I made for the GDevelop jam. This was my first real game in the engine, so don't expect too much.

Controls:

-The red and blue balls will constantly move towards the mouse. If they collide, you will take damage

-After dying, you can click on upgrades in the menu to improve your chances of survival

-You will win the game after surviving for 60 seconds straight

Known Bugs:

-I already know that the drift upgrade does not cost any money

Welcome to the dungeon!

To escape, you must overcome three enemies.

-Controls-

Walk: Arrow keys

Attack: z

Dash: x

Show grid: c

Skip turn: q

Restart: r

-Future Plans-

I hope to add sound effects, a menu, and possibly a better map to the game

I started working on this game for the 2023 Secret Santa jam, but my giftee dropped out.

After the jam, I added a few features and polished the game slightly.

Your goal is simply to survive for as long as possible by building turrets/walls out of snow. Good luck!

-Controls-

WASD to move

Use the mouse to aim

Left click to shoot

Right click to delete structures

1-4 to build

The square on the bottom right enables/disables performance mode. It is enabled by default

-Structures-

1: Turret (50 snowcoins)

2: Snow Wall (20 snowcoins)

3: Slush Wall (can be fired through) (50 snowcoins)

4: Ice wall (can be fired through and placed on top of turrets) (20 snowcoins)

-Further Development Goals-

-More structures, like healing drones or shield generators, that can increase the autonomy of bases

-Enemy variety, like enemies that lob shots at the player

-Better graphics for upgrade cards

-Balancing tweaks, like preventing turret spam

-Meta progression, maybe with weapon purchases
